thought for the day…

Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
Dance like nobody's watching.
Sing like nobody's listening.
Live like its Heaven on Earth.

About Janet Saunderson

First of all, welcome to my site.  I started this blog to help women lead stronger, more independent lives while building their careers and their self esteem along the way. I have 20+ years in the business world and have been through many life experiences, both good and bad. I try to live each day by the motto: Life is short, live it up.  Basically I try to avoid the “I’ll get around to it” mindset and enjoy every situation as it occurs.

There are many issues about which I am passionate and these will most likely reveal themselves through various articles. But some of these issues include: finance/money (who doesn’t want more, but how can we make it work better and harder for us), animals (I have 4 cats all rescued from a bad situation), the environment (how can we reduce our impact and improve the world in which we live), fitness (our bodies can work with us or against us, but it’s up to us to treat it right), and travel (there’s just so much to see!).

I love learning and I hope through this experience of sharing what I have learned that I can also learn from all of you.  Together we can be strong, independent women! To contact me personally, please send an email to janet@GirlOnHerOwn.com.
